Tempest uses no upper or lower joint Tenon Rings in manufacturing, thus allowing the most free and quick responding clarinet imaginable. The results of using no Rings also improve the articulation and allow the player to better center the pitch.
The highest standards are maintained to properly hand assemble the mechanism undercut the tone holes. Our experienced artisans carefully test and adjust the entire keywork to work perfectly. The Tempest clarinets have imported Italian pads and an adjustable thumb rest.
